Website Migration Checker Online Free – Redirects & Broken Links
Redesigned your site or changed domain? Paste your old URLs and new URLs (same order, one per line) and this tool finds mapping gaps, duplicates, unchanged URLs and mixed http/https — then checks the live status of every URL, including redirect chains.
Live status checks run through a tiny file on our server (api/migration-check.php) — browsers block direct checks of other websites for security, so live results only appear once that file is uploaded. Mapping analysis always works, with or without it.
How to use this tool
- Paste old URLs in the left box and new URLs in the right box, in the same order.
- Click Analyse Mapping to find gaps, duplicates and mistakes.
- Click Check Live Status to verify every URL's real redirect chain and final status.
Frequently asked questions
How do I check redirects after a website migration?
Paste old URLs and new URLs in matching order, click Analyse Mapping for mapping mistakes, then Check Live Status to see each URL's real redirect chain and final status code.
Why does the live check need a server file?
Browsers block web pages from reading other websites' responses (a security rule called CORS). So live status checks run through a small file on our server instead — mapping analysis itself never needs it.
What problems does the mapping analysis catch?
Missing pairs, duplicate old or new URLs, old URLs that point to themselves, http:// leftovers in new URLs, and trailing-slash mismatches.
What do the status codes mean?
200 means the page works. 301/308 are permanent redirects (correct after migration), 302/307 are temporary. 404 means the page is missing and 500 means a server error.
Is my URL list sent anywhere?
Mapping analysis runs fully in your browser. Only the live check sends the URLs to our own server to fetch their statuses — nothing is stored or shared.
How many URLs can I check at once?
Up to 50 URLs per live check, so the check finishes quickly. For bigger migrations, check in batches of 50.
