Bulk PDF Compressor
Have ten PDFs to shrink before a deadline? Don’t compress them one by one. PDF Prem’s bulk PDF compressor processes multiple PDFs in one go — right inside your browser. Select all your files, pick one quality setting, then download everything together as a single ZIP — or grab each file individually. No upload, no sign-up, no watermark.

How Bulk PDF Compression Works
Click the Bulk PDFs tab above (it opens by default on this page). Drop in all your PDFs at once or select them together in the file picker. One quality slider applies to the whole batch — set it once, press Compress All PDFs, and each file is processed in turn. When a file finishes, its own download button appears in the results list with the new size shown.
Because everything runs on your device, there is no upload queue and no waiting for a server. A batch of ten typical office PDFs usually finishes in under a minute.
Tips for Best Batch Results
Group similar files. Scanned pages and text documents compress very differently, so run them as separate batches with a quality setting suited to each. Watch the total size shown under the file list — it tells you the combined weight before you start. And keep your originals: the compressed copies are meant for sending and uploading, while the originals stay your masters.
Private by Design
Batch or single, the rule never changes: your files never leave your device. There is no server processing your documents, no copies retained anywhere, and no account tracking what you compressed. For office batches full of sensitive paperwork, that privacy is built in, not bolted on.
Frequently asked questions
How many PDFs can I compress at once?
There is no fixed limit — it depends on your browser’s memory. In practice, 10–20 PDFs at a time works smoothly on most devices. For very large batches, split them into groups.
Do all PDFs use the same quality setting?
Yes. One quality slider applies to the whole batch, so group similar files together — for example, compress all scanned pages in one batch and all text documents in another.
Will the text in my PDFs stay selectable?
No. As with single-file compression, pages are re-rendered as images at your chosen quality, so text is not selectable afterwards. The tool is ideal for scanned and image-heavy PDFs.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
Never. Every file is processed 100% inside your browser — nothing leaves your device, there is no queue, no sign-up and no watermark.
Can I download all compressed PDFs as one ZIP file?
Yes. When compression finishes, click "Download All as ZIP" to get a single pdfprem-bulk-compressed.zip containing every compressed file. You can also download files one by one — each individual file is named with "-pdfprem-compressed" added to the original filename.
Compressing a single PDF to an exact size?
For one file with a strict size limit, use a preset page instead:
